Vista Cruiser Country Squire by The Ramblin' Ambassadors

"Blend[s] elements of surf music and spaghetti western with modern rock to create a sound that is intoxicatingly friendly." -- BabySue

Almost five years have passed since the Ramblin' Ambassadors' critically acclaimed album Avanti, and now the band is back! This new release boasts eight new high-octane instrumental originals as well as covers of The Surftones, The Bel-Airs, and The Sadies. Vista Cruiser Country Squire explores the true core of the surf and cow-punk sound: stinging guitar lines, aggressive rhythm passages, and just enough laid-back West Coast feel. This is an album that balances tremolo and twang within an instrumental presentation. It was recorded live off the floor, with minimal overdubs, in their Calgary rehearsal studio by Russell Broom (Chixdiggit, The Dudes). Following its release, the Ramblin' Ambassadors are preparing a split 7" with garage rockers Heavy Trash (Jon Spencer Blues Explosion).
