A concentrating solar plant produces a high fluid temperature which leads to higher efficiency for solar power conversion to electricity. A solar parabolic dish stirling engine system can be small. Introduction Concentrating solar power technologies have been under development for some time in order to achieve higher fluid temperatures than flat plate collectors, so that higher conversion efficiency can be attained with a solar plant producing electricity. Direct Solar Radiation and Beam Solar Radiation Any of the concentrating solar reflectors, like the solar parabolic dish, can use only the direct component of incoming solar radiation. Direct solar radiation (also called beam radiation) is that portion of the incoming solar radiation that travels from the sun to the surface of the earth in essentially a straight line, without being reflected, deflected, or absorbed and retransmitted by particles or gases in the atmosphere. The other component of terrestrial solar radiation is called diffuse solar radiation. The object seems to be collecting solar plasma from the possible mothership, or maybe draining the Sun of powerful solar energy ribbons, in an attempt to decrease the potential, of a massive solar flare hitting Earth.
