This track is from the first official SFFS release "Understanding the Human Mind" CD-R. The entire pressing of this release was sold out on Index for Potential Suicide's tour. I do not remember the title and can't find a copy of the original release, but it was recorded to 4-track cassette in 1998 in Charleston, SC. Recording/personnel- C.Ashley The Slasher Film Festival Strategy is a minimalist film-score inspired solo project founded by Christopher Ashley in 1996. The unit has a had a variety of collaborator over the years including P. Cooper (Murder Weapon, The Disease), JF Henley III (TADGOS, The Disease), E.Wood (Man is the Bastard, Bastard Noise), J.Wiese (Sissy Spacek, Bastard Noise), I. Morris and many others. Thanks to youtube.com/spudster987 for playing the lead role and giving us an awesome place to shoot. A young man wakes up in the forest, with no memory of who or where he is. As he works to uncover he mystery of what's happened to him, he uncovers something... supernatural... This short film was shot over the course of two weekends, and won two awards at a youth-group film festival. It was filmed on a Canon 60D, a 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, and a 50mm f/1.8 lens. For audio, we used an Audio-technica at897 shotgun microphone plugged straight into the camera. The music was composed by Kevin Macleod, and used with permission.
